I Love My Airfryer - Recipes and Ideas

I absolutely LOVE my Secura Airfryer. This is the airfryer that I use http://tinyurl.com/ElleAirfrye  I recommend you get the largest size as the air needs to circulate around the food. http://tinyurl.com/ElleAirfryer  Below are temperatures and times







  • Eggs  260F for 18 to 20 minutes
  • Bacon 400F 10 to 15 minutes - stirring every 5 minutes
  • Kale with salt and olive oil 400F for 6 minutes - tossing every 3 minutes
  • Zucchini Slices  in Nutritional Yeast 400F for 10 minutes - flip after 5 and check every few minutes to not overcook
  • Brussel Sprouts - 1/4 and cook in microwave till tender then put in airfryer with olive oil, salt and a bit of balsamic and cook at 400F for 3 to 6 minutes and toss every 3 minutes till crispy
  • Potatoes - squares with olive oil and salt & pepper and McCormick Garlic & Herb Seasoning or rosemary 400 F for 20 minutes tossing after 10 minutes
  • Fries - cut skinny 1/4 inch strips and spray with olive oil and McCormick Garlic & Herb Seasoning  and cook 400F for 20 minutes tossing after 10 minutes
  • Mexican Food mix chicken (see recipe below) with cheese and roll up in tortillas. Cook in a single layer at 400F for 10 minutes.  Serve with guacamole and pico de gallo and rice and beans - yum!
  • Trader Joe's Pork Tenderloin: Coat with olive oil and season as desired (I love lemon pepper) and cook at 375F for roughly 25 minutes (see note) and flip 1/2 way through. Pull out and let rest for 10 minutes. Note: make sure that oven thermometer says the internal temperature is 145F.

    I finish off the last 5 minutes of any meat (from the grill or the oven) in the airfryer. It makes it so deliciously hot!!!

    Amazing Easy Taco Salsa Crockpot Chicken

    This is the most versatile easy dish - 3 ingredients in a crock pot!

    • 4 to 5 boneless skinless chicken breasts, frozen is fine
    • 1 package taco seasoning
    • 1 jar salsa




    Spray crockpot with non-stick spray. Put in ingredients letting the salsa cover the chicken and go to the bottom. Cover and cook 3 to 4 hours on high or 4 to 6 hours on low - till chicken is fork tender. Shred chicken and pour sauce over top to moisten.

    Variations:
    Serve on salad. I put some shredded chicken with some sauce, add guacamole and some pumpkin seeds and it is a delicious healthy filling meal.

    Taquitos/Flautas/Burritos
    In flour or corn tortillas, mix chicken with some cheese. For serious yumminess, put the tortillas in an airfryer at 400F for 10 minutes - yummy amazing crunchy goodness!!!  Serve with guac, rice, beans and you have a killer meal! DELICIOUS!!!



    The best part is, we always have leftovers in the freezer that are easy to pull out and make into a delicious quick meal.
